• Vendor Accounts: Business users selling multiple items with advanced features

Verification: We may require SA ID verification and RICA-compliant phone verification for security purposes.

Listing Creation:

• AI-powered listing creation with automatic categorization and pricing suggestions
• Manual listing creation with full user control
• Visual search functionality using uploaded images

Payment Processing: All transactions are processed in South African Rand (ZAR) with support for local and international payment methods.

Location Services: We use South African provincial and city data for location-based services.

Family Marketplace offers various membership tiers with different features and limitations:

Private User Tiers:

• Free Starter: Basic features with limited listings
• Smart Basic: Enhanced features with more listings
• AI Explorer: Advanced AI features
• Pro Power: Professional tools and analytics
• Elite Unlimited: Unlimited access to all features

Vendor Tiers: Corresponding business-focused tiers with bulk upload, inventory management, and advanced analytics.

AI Listing Creation: Our AI analyzes uploaded images to generate titles, descriptions, categories, and pricing suggestions. Results are recommendations only.

Visual Search: AI-powered image recognition helps users find similar products in our marketplace.

Limitations: AI services are subject to usage limits based on your membership tier. We do not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated content.

Prohibited Activities:

• Posting false, misleading, or fraudulent listings
• Selling prohibited or illegal items
• Harassment or abusive behavior toward other users
• Attempting to circumvent security measures
• Spamming or excessive promotional content

Content Standards: All listings must be accurate, appropriate, and comply with South African laws.

Transaction Fees: We charge commission fees on completed transactions, varying by membership tier.

Payment Methods: We support EFT, SnapScan, and international card payments. All prices are in South African Rand (ZAR).

Refunds: Refund policies depend on the specific transaction and are subject to our dispute resolution process.

POPIA Compliance: We comply with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) of South Africa.

Data Collection: We collect personal information necessary for account creation, verification, and service provision.

Data Usage: Your data is used to provide services, improve our platform, and ensure security. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Platform Rights: Family Marketplace and its original content are owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws.

User Content: You retain ownership of content you post but grant us license to use it for platform operations.

AI Technology: Our AI algorithms and technology are proprietary and protected by intellectual property laws.

Service Availability: We strive for continuous service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access.

Third-Party Transactions: We facilitate connections between users but are not responsible for disputes between buyers and sellers.

AI Accuracy: While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content is provided as-is without guarantees.

Account Termination: We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

User Termination: You may close your account at any time. Some obligations may survive termination.

Data Retention: We may retain certain data for legal and operational purposes after account closure.
